Four strength training terminology that will help you throughout your fitness journey. - Hypertrophy: the process of increasing muscle size & strength, which is a result of exercising. - Volume: number of sets, reps and weight you perform for a movement. - Frequency: how often you train a muscle group. - Progressive overload: after working out and recovery, your body gets stronger for your next session. Progressive overload is the process of gradually increasing the sets, reps, weight or frequency so your body can keep getting stronger.
